Kuna Family Movie Night in the Park is coming to Kuna this summer
Scott McIntosh/Kuna Melba News Editor 08.JUL.09 Ted Mason Signature Homes is launching “Kuna Family Movie Night,” with free movies in the city park this summer, according to an exclusive story in this week’s Kuna Melba News.
Scheduled evenings for the movie nights so far are Friday, July 17, and Saturday, Aug. 15, at the Col. Bernard Fisher Veterans Memorial Park in downtown Kuna, with other dates pending through Oct. 2. Live music is planned to start at 7 p.m., with movies starting at 9:15 p.m. The first movie will be “Journey to the Center of the Earth” in 3-D, with free 3-D glasses for the first 300 people.
“Ted wanted to provide an event that brings families together,” said spokeswoman Barbara Miller Johncox. “This is an event that won’t cost a dime, and in times like this, it’s great to provide a really nice evening at no cost.”
